This is another post by Mr. No Name. I am the American in a relationship with the Turkish Alevi. I have just now started reading about honor killing. Do you guys think this is a threat in my life? I know for sure that the family is definitely Alevi.

No. Certainly not. Do not ever never fell threatened. Honor killing is not a practice among the Alevi people
Let alone killing a human, Alevi people do not even go hunting, because it is considered as a sin to kill a living thing.

We Alevies don't do this thing.It is still on east and southeast of Turkey.It is common among Kurdish people.If someone is both alevi and kurdish,he/she might do this thing.I wanna say again that this stupid thing is not related or interested among Alevi people.
