Alevimen 26.01.2006, 00:15 Dear non-turkish User
you can post topics and/or answers in English forums as a guest but the posts will be moderated, which means they have to be read by moderators, and if suitable, will then activated. That process of course requires some time, however if you register with our site (free of charge) your posts will be sent immediately.
The standard language of this forum is TURKISH, we use vbulletin forum system and we have installed lots of plug-ins, so even if you switch the board language to English, it's possible that you will still see some Turkish words, this due to the lack of English content. However if more participation takes place under this section more rapid actions will be taken. We are gradually managing the English files, consequently some delays can take place during the process.

you will find this drop-down box at the bottom of our page, you can reset the language using this option.

above is the sample registration form:
1. Cinsiyet- is your gender, please mark Erkek if male and Bayan if you are female.
2. mark Evet if you are Alevi and Hayir if you are not. ( Evet = yes, Hayir = no)
3. Memleket- is the town or the province you originate from. You can also set to "not turkish" if you are either not turkish or dont want to diclose your origin.
thanks to Naz (http://www.aleviforum.com/member.php?u=2797) for clean translation

Yesssss, absolutely! Go on working on it and your dreams will come true can=soul (hahah). You have already done a lot for this web site and you have achieved a great number of members. And I really must say: You have created a very warm and familiar atmosphere. May this atmosphere never be disturbed!!!
I think it'd be quite useful if you link the German and English forum somewhere visible at the head.
Also, if possible, a French section?

If i know French, sure i want to prepare. I like language of French very much. Do you know French?
Bir Zeynep 29.01.2006, 15:51 Yep, I can speak French.
Bonjour Gannush, bonjour tout le monde. Est-ce que tu es de France? Je sais le francais aussi...
I think, English and German besides Turkish are enough though. I don't think there are many people knowing French. We can start an inquiry if you like!? hehehe...

Kayıtsız Üye 21.03.2006, 00:11 hi , i am sorry for write this comment without introduce myself, first i am spanish and i would like to know if u guys can help me, well i was dating with a alevi guy for more than 1 year, and the relationship was so difficult, but the reason that the relationship split out was because he says that he has to married someone alevi, i do not know if that is true or not,, i really appreciate if someone can help me, thanks.
pd i have muslin friends and they said that what he says is bullshit, but i do not know, if alevi has to married alevis. thanks.
huseyincem 07.04.2006, 23:20 yes my friend.firstly ı m sorry for my english.and the second this is a rule of alevies.but this is can be change.not god's rule.ı m not enough time sorry.ı m sure my friends wiil tell you so much.welcome.
As far as I know, it's not compulsory to choose an alevi spouse.
Alevi people tend to have doubts about the marriages between a sunni and an alevi.

hola my spanish friend, welcome to our forum. we are beginning to grow all over the world, isn't it great? i'm sad to hear that youand your boyfriend have separated. of course i hope that he has told you the sincere reason for his decision. it could be his parents who said : no way! not a girl that is not an alevi! but could be as well (what i think sounds more likely) that they said: not with a spanish person, well or any other person beside turkish/kurdish or whatever he is. please do not consider this as an insult, i am just trying to explain the possible reasons. whatever happens, i wish you all the best for your future!
Hangilerini biliyorsun peki?
almanca, turkce, ingilizce, ispanyolca, fransizca, latince :)
aleviGAL 13.07.2006, 23:23 i think wid latin u can only write..cos as far as i kno its just useful for written stuff
Bir Zeynep 13.07.2006, 23:30 hadi canim sende:)
inanmiyon muuu? ahahah canin sag olsun o zaman, ama dogrudur can :)
@ alevigal: yes that's true. it's not only writing or trabslating from latin into other languages it is also very helpful concerning vocabularies. many languages derive from latin, especially french and spanish / italian show many similarities in grammar or vocabularies, really helpful and interesting. but also very hard!
aleviGAL 14.07.2006, 13:49 i kno its hard...i realised wen my sister was studying latin...i looked at her work, den i thought waoooow dats interesting..:confused1
How lucky you're Zeyno! There used to be latin language classes in Turkish gymnasiums. I wish I could have caught the chance of studying Latin in high school. It improves the comprehension of the lexicon of western languages.. Hangi süper zeka o dersleri kaldırdıysa artık... :thumbdown :crying:
aleviGAL 14.07.2006, 14:18 dnt worry may be u'll get dat chance again..u never know.
Yeah, sure. I have to wait for my next re-incernation....
aleviGAL 14.07.2006, 14:26 be patient then...:)
I'd be, if only it was granted that I'd be re-incarnated in human form :p
Let's get back to the topic...
aleviGAL 14.07.2006, 14:30 yeah sorry...i think its my fault.
Bir Zeynep 14.07.2006, 18:26 Wow, Gannush you are the first one I know in Turkey who knows what a Gymnasium school is. It was always very hard for me to explain what kind of school I went to and why I had more and harder subjects than my sisters. I am sure you'll get that chance again. You know pretty much and I am really proud of you. I mean, look at your English man!! And you know French as well, you are interested in languages and you do master them, so how many peopl in Turkey can do that? Saying that they master foreign languages? This is very rare.
Not really at all, in Istanbul, so many are mastering in several languages. The more languages you speak, the more job opportunities you have.
Thanks for your words :blushing:
