Different UV Detectors use various sensors depending on the application. For example, photodiode detectors are the most common. They work by producing a small current when exposed to UV light. The stronger the light, the higher the current. Other detectors use materials that react chemically to UV light, such as phosphors, which glow when UV light hits them.
